My husband and I have a select comfort matres so we didn't want to give our baby a regular coil spring matres. For the price this foam matres was reviewed well and fit the criteria we were looking for. It arrived quickly, was very light and fit the crib perfectly. It seems to be VERY firm, (our baby has only napped on it never spent the night on it). She slept well through her naps so I am confident that she is comfortable and this matres was a good purchase.

I got this as a replacement of a Serta crib mattress. The Serta got a big dip in the middle of it (it was purchased at closeout retailer to be fair). I have a foam mattress along with my older child so I wanted the baby to have one to. The price was great and the baby sleeps very well now. The mattress is very hard but they are suppose to be that way. Even when you get a new one for a regular bed they are as hard as a rock for awhile then they soften up and become the perfect hard but soft mattress everyone wants.

The mattress is very firm and it fits my son's crib perfectly! It is very light weight and so far my son hasn't had an issue sleeping on it at all.

This mattress is *very* firm. Not Styrofoam firm, but it certainly doesn't contour to your body. However, "they" recommend a firm mattress (whatever that means), our baby doesn't seem to care, and it's foam so it should hold up much better than any spring mattress as cheap as this.
